The Day Everything Became Nothing subject us to their third opus of (sub)sonic aural deconstructivism.

“Invention: Destruction” (2006) sees the band resume their melding of the visceral and the mechanical with a massive grinding offensive that is at once rigid and swinging, angular yet fluid. Chugging and winding grooves ooze with booming heaviness over ultra-precise timing and rhythm shifting drumming which stops, starts and doubles back again with pinpoint accuracy and neck snapping rapidity. Taking a militaristically clinical approach to a genre usually defined by looseness and grime, The Day Everything Became Nothing simultaneously destroy and reinvent the gore/groove grind conventions to create a simplistically complex model for widespread devastation.

Aided in their mission by guest vocalists from Fuck…I’m Dead, Mors Principium Est and Damaged, The Day Everything Became Nothing’s purging wave of demolition cannot be stopped!
